DocuSheeter NV Roll Feed Now Available for Xerox Nuvera Digital Presses

Chicago, IL (October 15, 2006) - Lasermax Roll Systems announced today the availability of DocuSheeter NV, a new model within its DocuSheeter™ line of roll feed systems for cut sheet printers.  The system was jointly developed by Xerox Corporation and Lasermax Roll Systems, a Xerox Business Partner.  DocuSheeter NV offers customers increased productivity on the entire fleet of Xerox Nuvera™ Digital Production Systems.

The system consists of an unwinder, cutter, and transport.  The unwinder feeds 50” diameter rolls to the cutter module; single sheets are then fed on demand to the Xerox Nuvera 100/ 120/144 Digital Production Systems.  The large rolls run for 12 hours or more before depleting. 

DocuSheeter NV roll feed is ideal for customers running 11” x 17” applications, as it essentially becomes a tray holding nearly 30,000 ledger-sized sheets.  Customers may switch to an 8.5” x 11” application without changing rolls.

A wide range of Nuvera-supported papers can be fed from the DocuSheeter NV.  Papers that deviate from standard commodity reams, such as lighter or heavier weights, odd sizes, or coated papers, are cost-effective in roll form, with savings up to 30% or more.  A print registration option allows for the feeding of pre-printed sheets from rolls.

The Lasermax Roll Systems DocuSheeter NV is sold by the Xerox North American sales force, and outside of North America by the Lasermax Roll Systems network of dealers.
